90% Probability
Basic elementary science indicates a 90% statistical probability that the theory behind Excellence in Golf is correct. I have never shared the probability data with any living soul other than my son and my father. It does not contain the crucial pieces of information needed to construct the theory, but it does provide the starting points from which a knowledgeable dedicated researcher might eventually be able to work out the theory for themselves. It also provides the assurances that they would need to justify continuing their search.
[As originally written the probability data was found in this space. I have since decided that I will only share this data with Rush and will send him the link to this page on request.] Rush, please click here.
With this background, thousands of hours spent in libraries reading the works of the world's great golfers, and based on my medical training and experience, I came to some remarkable findings and conclusions summarized and explained in detail in the theory itself. The theory is not based on physics or high tech anything, but rather on knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. I realized that certain design features common to virtually all golf clubs interfere with how the brain and body function together to swing the golf club. These common design features (the conventional wisdom) have been handed down for hundreds of years from one generation of club makers to the next without challenge. Once you recognize that the common knowledge is wrong and understand why, correcting the problem is simply a matter of applied common sense to remove the interference.
My early "library research" allowed me to prove that there is no evidence that any modern "improvement" in golf club design or technology has lowered the score of a single golfer. After prototypes are built, I will be able to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the theory is correct or it is not. There will be no shades of gray. Golf is a target game. Balls struck with EIG golf clubs will finish closer to the hole than balls struck with any other golf clubs; or they won't. It really is that simple. The testing regimen is not complex or inordinately expensive; it will just take some time.
