You Should be Skeptical, But..

What if we are right! If we are right, a decade from now the United States can actually be freer than it has ever been. We will leave the positive implications of restoring the Constitution to your own fertile mind, but we want to point out that we believe there could potentially be an enormous downside if the Constitution is not restored: "Our whole civilization rests on the fact that men have always succeeded in beating off the attack of the re-distributors...If we wish to save the world from barbarism we have to conquer Socialism." Ludwig von Mises. "We will preserve for our children this the last best hope for man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness." Ronald Reagan.

We don't believe that a single person reading this article knows how to restore the Constitution. For that matter, neither do we, nor does anybody else. Only God knows the future and if you believe that He gave man unrestricted free will, even He may not have complete control over it. This article is part of a series that will outline a simple plan that we believe is capable of completely restoring the Constitution.

At one time or another, most conservatives have thought about reining in government and forcing it to live within the restraints of the Constitution, what we have termed "restoring the Constitution." All freedom loving Americans have hoped that it could be possible. Yet even without reading the series and in spite of the fact that there is not a single reader that knows how to restore the Constitution, every one of you will find it difficult, if not impossible to accept the idea that anybody could, or actually has, found a plan that can displace the socialistic democracy that we have become and restore our Constitutional Republic. You are right to question whether the Constitution can be restored. We are asking you to read this series of articles about how we think it can be done because the ramifications are so far reaching if we happen to be right. Be skeptical; we are asking you to keep your skepticism with a couple of thoughts uppermost in your mind. Don't just doubt that it can be done; decide in your own mind, "Why won't this plan work?" Tell us why it won't work. And once you have found some challenges to our thinking, take your thinking to the next level. What could you suggest to make our plan work? We are not asking you to offer a plan of your own. We are taking it for granted that if you had one, you would have already put it forward and implemented it.

While our plan is simple, there are several moving parts and some essential history to understand. For more than ten years one of the most important medical advances in history (the discovery of penicillin) did not take place because not enough people thought about and understood the importance of an event that did not happen. Understanding why this plan will work may ultimately depend on enough people understanding, or at least certain people understanding, the significance of an historical event that did not occur.

The slogan, "Love it or leave it" was probably coined by a Democrat. It serves to intimidate people willing to complain about the various freedoms we have lost without offering any justification for either the lost freedom or the lowered standard. Democrats love slogans that seemingly substitute for conscious thought and the lowering of standards. The tragic truth is that no matter how much freedom we Americans have lost, the US still may be freer than any other country. At this point in history there are far fewer reasons for freedom-loving Americans to love it, and it is premature to leave it. Stick with us and we'll show you how we think the Constitution can be restored. We believe that it is not too late, and that we can take our country and our freedoms back. With the "Right" leadership, we think we can prove it.
